Redhawk is seeking talented MuleSoft Engineers to join a high-performing team building a critical U.S. Navy enterprise platform focused on transforming how the Department of the Navy (DON) enables, integrates, and leverages data. This mission-driven effort centers on API-led connectivity, enterprise integration, and modernizing how government systems communicate and scale.
As part of this initiative, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering a robust integration layer that accelerates development, improves interoperability, and drives measurable impact across DON operations.

Location
Remote, with the potential for up to 50% travel to client sites as needed
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy enterprise integration services using MuleSoft CloudHub and API Management.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and SOAP web services using RAML and MuleSoft best practices.
Configure and manage API proxies, endpoints, portals, and analytics using MuleSoft API Manager.
Orchestrate complex integration use cases across multiple systems using system, process, and experience API layers.
Implement and support API-led connectivity architectures to enable scalable, reusable services.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Support CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable delivery of integration components.
Technical Qualifications
2+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft CloudHub and API Management.
4+ years of overall professional software development experience.
Proven experience designing and developing enterprise services using:
RAML
REST-based APIs
SOAP Web Services
MuleSoft connectors
Strong understanding of integration patterns and enterprise messaging concepts.
Deep knowledge of REST, HTTP, MQ, JSON, XML, and SOA principles.
Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, including:
Maven
Jenkins
Bitbucket
Git
MuleSoft deployment pipelines
Proficiency in at least one programming language:
Java, C++, or C#
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
