The position supports the US Army IBCS, which is a ground transportable, tactical integrated air and missile defense command and control system. Put your experience to work as a Military Trainer to assist with the implementation and execution of worldwide training operations supporting the US Army customer foreign military sales case, Poland.
This position is located within Huntsville, Alabama with deployments to multiple locations within Poland.

This position requires extended travel to multiple CONUS/OCONUS locations including Poland. The Principal Military Trainer role requires Security+ and Linux+ certifications within six months from the date of hire.

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,800.00 - $122,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Duties include:
- Conducts on-site training consisting of lectures, and practical exercises in accordance with approved programs of instruction using lesson plans, instructor guide, electronic technical manuals, interactive electronic technical manuals, student guides, handouts, practical exercise worksheets, and both written and hands-on evaluations.
- Supports training material developers and writers with review and validation of training materials.
- Participates in doctrinal development, embedded training scenario development, practical exercise development, test question development and after-action review and analysis.
- Writes and maintains detailed reports that summarize training event conduct and metrics such as student enrollment, student demographics, student attendance, student pass/fail percentages, suggested improvements to the course materials and training aids, etc.
- Designs, schedule, delivers, and tracks technical training.
- Establishes training and education modules.
- Ensure consistency in the delivery of technical training and on-boarding.
- Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers.
- Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy.

Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED Equivalent with 10 years of experience. Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience.
- Possess experience with Air Defense Systems
- Ability to Travel domestically and internationally with a valid passport
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
- Possess a complete understanding of technical applications in the field
- Considered an expert in the field within AMD
- Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Secret security clearance
- Provides consulting expertise to military or defense clients in the development and evaluation of military training and doctrine
- Specialized expertise in planning and executing some or all phases of military training exercises
- Expertise with scenario development, and After-Action Review (AAR) and analysis
- Team-up with soldiers' instructors and/or civilian instructors when necessary
- Implement train-the-trainer curriculum in support of unit sustainment training
- Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
- Develop and deliver presentations Internally or Externally as required
- Military Training certification in the recent past, example: TRADDOC Certification...ABIC, SGITC, TAITC, etc.
