THE WORK
Lockheed Martin Global Sustainment Information System and Innovation group is looking for an individual to establish and maintain the strategic direction to position Global Sustainment as a leader in aftermarket depot and supply chains. This individual would manage a portfolio of software products used in product life cycle sustainment. Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. To accomplish these responsibilities a successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a focus on organization, enhanced multitasking abilities, ability to interface with the customer (both internal and external), coordinate the efforts of several teams of software professionals both at site / sites or virtual, and implement innovative solutions that will allow the business to be successful.

The CAST products is a culmination of various advanced software offerings enabling Lockheed Martin customers on a variety of platforms to have an interactive experience within their respected areas of operations. Examples of these products include the Lockheed Martin Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM), the Aurora Maintenance Management System (AMMS) and the Digital Field Service Rep (Digital FSR) mobile and web applications to name a few. The CAST suite of tools is a key sustainment supporting element for both Commercial and Military operations today and continues to evolve with new capabilities. By leveraging the most current technological software advances, our developers are rapidly expanding the product offerings from a simple application to an in-depth interactive experience.

As the Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging project management and the project team, facilitating the processing of authorization and contractual documents, and contributing as a key member of an integrated project team to evaluate project challenges and develop effective resolutions.

In this role, you will lead cross-business unit (BU), cross-functional, and cross-business area (BA) teams, driving strategic vision and execution to achieve or exceed cost, schedule, technical baselines, and proposal commitments. You will collaborate extensively across the enterprise, engaging with quality, business management, contracts, legal, production operations, production control, delivery operations, global supply chain (including GFE), customer programs, engineering, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of contractual requirements, proposal development, and on-time delivery.

As the primary point of contact, you will ensure clear and concise communication with senior leaders in the customer program office, as well as with internal senior leadership teams (SLT).

Additionally, you will lead the development of business cases to support data-driven executive decision-making and oversee execution to ensure all contractual obligations are met on schedule.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical discipline from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 15 years or more of professional experience.
• Program/Project Management experience
• Full Spectrum Leadership competencies
• Must possess strong technical leadership experience and demonstrate the ability to effectively manage and inspire a diverse team of software engineers
• Must be capable of coordinating software development efforts and providing support for both internal stakeholders and external contract
• Must have frequent contacts with internal personnel, outside customers and industry peers at various management levels concerning operations, program management, or scheduling of specific phases of projects or contracts.
• Must possess superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams
• Knowledge and experience in EV performance reporting
• Risk and opportunity management experience
• Knowledge of contracts requirements management and systems engineering
• Experience driving high-impact, critical issues across multiple organizations, which may involve direct interaction with Senior leadership within Lockheed Martin and Customer organizations
• U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of aircraft production processes
• Working knowledge of Squadron Level operational tempo and maintenance processes
• Knowledge of the contracting life-cycle processes from proposal (RFP, BOEs, negotiation) through delivery and DD250 (Quality dispositions, Contract Modifications)
• Strong communication skills, with a willingness to engage with technical and non-technical subject matter experts
• Presentation skills and ability to address complex issues & solutions with senior leadership
• Operations experience in production, sustainment, supply chain, and/or quality
• Developmental Program experience (NRE)
• Strong business acumen, including negotiation and conflict management skills
• Prior CAM experience
• Experience mitigating Red Program/Sub-Contract
• Subcontracts Management

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $128,400 - $222,640. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
