Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machines Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining, repairing, and servicing all types of machine tools and fabrication machines, including NC, CNC, DNC machines, and robots. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CNC equipment maintenance and be able to work to exacting tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
Determine methods and sequences of operations for maintaining, repairing, and servicing CNC equipment and other machine tools.
Troubleshoot integrally related mechanical and hydraulic drive, control, and traversing systems to isolate malfunctions.
Disassemble, repair, or replace defective parts, and make exacting coordinated adjustments as necessary to maintain electronic-hydraulic control sensitivity requirements and overall machine efficiency.
Work with manufacturers' personnel in repairing, testing machine tools and associated equipment. Make adjustments as needed to ensure performance characteristics coincide with applicable specifications.
Perform modification and repair work of CNC equipment and other machine tools as required.
**Must be willing/able to work ANY shift and ANY work schedule.**
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of four years of experience in machine tool repair, including CNC equipment maintenance, or two years of machine tool repair and maintenance and two years of machine operational experience.
Experience with Blueprint, technical data, and data model comprehension.
Experience Machine tool maintenance, basic hydraulics.
Proficient in the use of computers and computerized equipment.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance.
**Must be willing/able to work ANY shift and ANY work schedule.**
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of advanced and/or conventional control systems.
Ability to work at various heights.
Experience with precision layouts and working to exacting tolerances.
Manufacturing shop best practices.
Measurement theory and practice related to machine operations.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
