As part of the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Functional Domain, our team leads the implementation of DevSecOps practices that enable secure, reliable, and modern software delivery across cutting-edge UAS platforms.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will design, build, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines that support the compilation, testing, containerization, and deployment of application code. In this role, you will focus on implementing reliable, automated pipelines that enable development teams to deliver software efficiently and securely. You will collaborate closely with cloud, software, and security teams to ensure pipelines integrate cleanly with Azure cloud environments and align with program and security requirements. You will be hands-on in configuring pipeline stages, automating workflows, and integrating build, test, and deployment processes using GitLab CI/CD and related tooling. You will implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to support consistent and repeatable deployments, contribute to monitoring and logging integrations, and help enforce security baselines within CI/CD workflows. You will also assist engineering teams by providing guidance on pipeline standards, secure coding practices, and DevSecOps best practices.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100 - $171,235. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate code compilation, testing, containerization, and deployment across GitLab CI, and integrated Azure services
- Collaborate with cloud, software, and security teams to ensure pipeline design, infrastructure, and security controls align with Azure cloud architecture and program requirements
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to enable consistent, repeatable, and scalable deployments
- Provide enablement and mentorship by guiding engineering teams on secure coding practices, pipeline standards, and DevSecOps best practices
- Apply continuous monitoring and log analysis to detect anomalies, enforce security baselines, and improve operational visibility across environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational and security issues to maintain system reliability, performance, and availability
Travel up to 10% may be required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Experience building, maintaining, and automating CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
- Experience working with containerized environments (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Python and scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell
- Experience working with Linux-based operating systems
