Description:Lockheed Martin MFC is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Engineer intern to support the Orlando, FL location.
This candidate will be supporting 2D - 3D Heterogenous packaging concepts of advanced electronics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: design and test of advanced electronic design solutions, utilizing Thin Films, semiconductor manufacturing processes, and advanced thermal management techniques.
Additionally, the position provides the opportunity to work with multiple disciplines related to product design, electrical systems, and test engineering. This gives the candidate a unique opportunity to get direct experience on new emerging technologies as they develop into products.
Basic Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar degree.
• Experience with Microelectronic circuits, lab work in materials, hardware integration.
• Experience with 3-D printing, prototyping, additive manufacturing, etc.
• Experience with CREO or similar 3D CAD tools
• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a security clesrance.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with thermal, heat transfer, cooling, thermodynamics, etc.
• Experience with semiconductor devices, circuitry within computer devices/cell phones, etc.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
