The Assistant Program Manager provides critical support to the Program Manager in overseeing all contract activities for the Army's Treaty Compliance and Surety Division (DAMO-SSD), DASA(ESOH), and the U.S. Army Nuclear and Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Agency (USANCA). Serving as a key point of operational continuity, the APM is responsible for managing program tasks, assisting with staff supervision, and maintaining compliance with contract requirements and schedules. This role acts as the Program Manager's delegate during absences, ensuring seamless leadership and direct engagement with Army and DoD stakeholders. The APM must be adept at coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring deliverables, reports, and performance standards are met within a secure, high-profile federal environment.

Responsibilities :
- Support the Program Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of contract execution to meet Army objectives and project milestones
- Serve as the primary point of contact and assume full program management responsibilities in the Program Manager's absence
- Assist in supervising, mentoring, and coordinating activities of key and non-key personnel, ensuring continuity and high performance across the team
- Monitor and help ensure timely submission of deliverables, reports, and status updates in accordance with contractual and Army requirements
- Aid in overseeing quality control and recommending or implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Contribute to managing project schedules, resources, and work assignments, and support compliance with firm-fixed-price contract terms
- Participate in briefings, meetings, and progress reviews with Army and DoD representatives, providing program updates and addressing any issues
- Help facilitate onboarding and clearance of personnel and maintain adherence to security protocols for proper handling of classified information
- Assist with risk management, problem resolution, and other operational support functions to ensure uninterrupted mission assurance and contract compliance
