Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the WG-2854-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1- Performs repetitive and/or relatively routine tasks including disassembly, repair, overhaul, assembly, adjusting and testing of actuators both linear and rotary, small motors, cooling fans and similar equipment/components.
2- Disassembles, cleans, inspects and evaluates components and subassemblies. Identifies worn, broken or corroded parts.
3- Assembles actuators, motors, fans, and similar equipment, per applicable technical manuals and specifications. Applies corrosion preventive materials, adjusts, lubricates, shims as required, torque to specification and safety wire.

Help
- You will test actuators, motors, fans, etc. using linear stroke fixtures, kind stands, dynamometers, specialized test fixtures and general purpose test equipment.
- You will work under the supervision of a foreman but may receive technical direction and instruction from electricians of higher grade.
- You will using hand tools common to the electrical trade and to use measuring and test equipment such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, meggers, and other electrical test equipment.
