Lead Sourcing Specialist - Vendor Management 18 Month Fixed Term

Job Description Summary
During a time of continued growth, here at Dowty (a GE Aerospace company) we have an exciting 18 month fixed term contract opportunity for a Lead Sourcing professional to join our vibrant aerospace team onsite at our cutting edge manufacturing site in Brockworth, near Gloucester.

Working closely with GE Aerospace's Suppliers and internal stake holders to deliver strategic priorities particularly transfer of work packages between suppliers and in addition supplier performance initiatives / development programs. This role is responsible for executing the sourcing strategic direction and move multiple work packages to alternative suppliers that offer continuity of supply, quality and cost advantages to position GE Aerospace for future growth.

Essential Requirements:

• qua lit yp r oc e d u r es in a regulated manufacturing industry, namely Defence and A e r osp a ce, Aviation, Automotive manufacturing, or similar
• experience of project and/or programme management.
