Duties

  • You will present the supervisor with relevant background material and information on action items.
  • You will perform troubleshooting and fact-finding tasks in support of Business/Program Management personnel in the area of specialization.
  • You will support one or more aspects of the personnel and physical security programs.
  • You will process documents related to employee security clearances; provide for visitor access to restricted areas; maintain classification management records.
  • You will control and safeguards classified material; record and evaluate security violations and infractions.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or DG-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Performing general office/clerical support;
  • Demonstrating police emergency communications, first responder practices, and emergent situation management; AND
  • Exercising Security Guard, police officer, loss prevention, Guard posting, site security, camera surveillance protocols.

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided the education demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position :

SUCCESFUL COMPLETION 4 years above high school This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
