  • Maintaining a library of tasker responses, using information within it to build initial responses that squadron personnel can use as a starting point rather than beginning all new tasker responses from scratch.
  • Reviewing work products for completeness, correctness, proper formatting, and consistent, professional appearance.
  • Staffing work products through the squadron commander or delegates.
  • Establishing and optimizing business lines within the squadron to maximize throughput and efficiency of the lean team
  • Planning, coordinating, and managing strategic communications in alignment with the commander's policies and guidance.
  • Assisting with the writing of speeches, presentations, and other public-facing material.
  • Developing, planning, coordinating, and assisting the commander and other senior leadership to execute various scheduled events such as commander's calls, all-hands, and military ceremonies (promotions, retirements, etc.).

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of relevant work experience supporting Senior Executives, Squadron Commanders, or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience working with DoD or IC tasking systems, such as TMT and MS365 Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of Defense Department and/or Space Force organizational structure, policies, and culture.
  • Proven ability to manage high-level taskers and utilize reporting systems effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Robust communication and interpersonal skills to respectfully drive customer engagement on task actions/responses.
  • A self-starter able to take initiative and accomplish work independently with minimal guidance.

Desired Qualifications:

Candidates with the following qualifications will stand out:

  • Relevant experience in Space Force Combat Forces Command (CFC) or Space Systems Command (SSC).

  • Knowledge of space operations, aerospace systems, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Lean methodologies to enhance team collaboration and operational efficiency.

Education /Certification Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (required).
  • Masters degree (desired).
  • PMP or APDP PM certification (desired).
  • 10+ years of related professional experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.

Security Clearance Level Required:

Location/Travel Requirements:
  • Primary work location: Colorado Springs, CO.
