Key Responsibilities
- Enhance DevSecOps processes, tools, and automation frameworks.
- Ensure all deliverables meet defined user acceptance criteria.
- Manage self-directed assignments with accountability for deadlines and quality.
- Act as a trusted advisor for Cloud and DevSecOps initiatives, providing practical insights and recommendations.
- Implement and enforce industry standards across cloud and automation environments.
- Integrate and maintain security best practices within automated pipelines.
- Continuously improve CI/CD environments supporting cloud-native applications.
Required Qualifications
Clearance
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
- Within 30 miles of Laurel MD .
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline.
Experience
- 5+ years of DevSecOps experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Azure and other cloud environments.
- 3+ years of application and OS security experience.
- 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as:
- Jenkins
- Terraform
- Ansible
- Docker
- Helm
- Nexus
- 3+ years using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Ansible and Terraform .
- 3+ years working with Kubernetes within Azure cloud environments.
- Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to convey security policies, standards, and risk concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Azure or AWS cloud environments.
- Experience working within DoD Azure cloud environments.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $160,000 - $185,000 (depending on experience)
- Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave, and Holidays. (As required by law)
