Job Description
ECS is seeking an Administrative Security Specialist to work in our Warner Robins, GA office.
ECS is seeking a highly qualified Administrative Security Specialist with an active Secret Clearance to work on our project at Robins Air Force Base, GA. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. Must hold and maintain a valid Secret Security Clearance.
He/she will provide security administration support/ Access control.

Qualifications Required:
Associates Degree with 2 years experience performing security administration function.
Tasks associated with position
Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and theories of Security Specialist, and the standard practices, methods, and techniques of the occupation sufficient to perform difficult, but well-precedented assignments. Tasks include performing security specialist support duties. Manages facility circulation control by utilizing Automated Access Control System (AACS) to review, assess, vet, monitor, and manage access controls and accounts to include badge issuance and removal to mitigate risks of controlled areas, rooms, and any other identified locations. Coordinates with government security specialist on policies and procedures and contractor regarding AACS requirements and Cybersecurity posture. Performs orientation training for newly assigned personnel and de-briefs terminating personnel on organizational requirements. Sends/receives personnel visit requests using security automated systems (DISS). Manages dedicated security workflow box and transmits information/requests to appropriate security specialist. Manage mail room operations to include sending and receiving classified/unclassified parcels. Serves as safe custodian and prepares administrative documentation to support classified information holdings. Prepares written correspondence to include responses to routine inquiries, reports, letters, and other related documents. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products.

- Candidate MUST HAVE a min. Secret Security clearance and maintain such clearance.
- Associate degree with 2+ years of experience performing security administration function.
- Knowledge of the principle concepts, and theories of Security Specialist, and the standard practices, methods, and techniques of the occupation sufficient to perform, difficult, but well-precendented assignments.
- Experience utilizing Automated Access Control System (AACS) to review, assess, vet, monitor, and manage access controls and accounts to include badge issuance and removal.
- Experience with coordinating with government security specialist on policies and procedures regarding AACS.
- Experience using DISS for sending and receiving personnel visit requests.
- Experience performing orientation training for newly assigned personnel and de-briefs terminating personnel on organizational requirements.
- Experience managing dedicated security workflow box and transmit information/requests to appropriate security specialists.
- Experience managing mail room operations to include sending and receiving classified/unclassified parcels.
- Experience as safe custodian
- Experience preparing written correspondence for routine inquiries, reports, letters, and other related documents.
- Ability to utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents.
- Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principals and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment with ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, business analytical and problem-solving/trouble shooting skills.
- Effective Customer Service and management skills/capabilities; including a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally (internally) and/or externally.
- High level of drive and ability to learn.
