Chenega is hiring an Infosec/Comsec Specialist in Huntsville, AL to support NASA's mission, seeking a security professional with broad experience in clearance processing and personnel security, communications security, classified information systems security, and physical security, while also coordinating and monitoring highly sensitive programs across the DoD, Intelligence Community, and other government partners to ensure strict compliance with all federal and corporate security policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Center's security education, training, and awareness program, including quarterly security newsletters.
- Oversee full-spectrum COMSEC operations, including safeguarding CCIs, maintaining accurate records, conducting inventories and audits, and reporting all required changes or violations to the COR.
- Provide technical COMSEC support by configuring, installing, loading, and troubleshooting equipment, while training and advising Hand Receipt Holders and coordinating solutions with internal and external customers.
- Ensure proper destruction of CUI/SBU/FOUO materials and support collateral, SCI, and SAP security requirements in accordance with all applicable regulations.
- Administer daily SCIF operations, including scheduling secure meetings, maintaining documentation, and managing all phases of SCIF accreditation.
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience with information security, industrial security or communications security.
- Must possess a Bachelors' Degree. Equivalent education/experience is applicable.
- Must possess Security Fundamentals Professional and Special Program Security Certification and Industrial Security Oversight Professional
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must meet all standards as required by Statement of Work.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
