KBR is seeking a Aircraft Systems Integrator (ASI) to support the Advanced Sensors Technologies (AST) Program Office at NAS Patuxent River, MD. The candidate will perform a variety of engineering work in the development of cutting-edge DoD operable system network capabilities while meeting customer requirements within the imposed constraints. The position supports advanced technical projects with strategic planning, accelerated schedules, equipment integration onto aircraft and testing requirements from multi-disciplined cross-functional teams.

Compensation: $125,000- $145,000. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead integration efforts for aircraft optical systems and associated network architectures as a subject matter expert.
- Conduct subsystem interface design and research to ensure seamless integration of EO/IR systems onto P-8A aircraft.
- Perform functional analysis of integrated networks to confirm alignment with customer performance goals.
- Support development and evaluation of technical proposals and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for AST projects.
- Conduct post-modification subsystem checkouts, testing, troubleshooting, and technical direction across mechanical and electrical systems.
- Develop system interconnect diagrams and provide guidance on product logistics for AST systems.
- Provide specialized hands-on training to military and civilian personnel, including in-flight test support on the P-8A as a Project Specialist.
- Attend and contribute to AST program meetings, reporting status updates to government leadership and integration teams.
- Travel up to 25% to support integration and testing activities across program locations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Clearance & Citizenship: Active Top Secret/SSBI; SSBI completed within the last 6 years or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline OR High School Diploma with at least 8 years of systems integration experience.
- Experience: Systems integration, installation, and checkout experience on Navy aircraft; demonstrated ability to read schematics and troubleshoot complex aviation subsystems.
- Software/Tools: Experience editing or creating drawings in Visio or AutoCAD.
- Certification(s): Ability to pass physical and water survival qualification requirements to fly as a Project Specialist.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Wescam EO/IR systems.
- P-8A aircraft integration, installation, and checkout experience.
- Fiber optic cleaning/inspection/fabrication certification.
- Familiarity with P-8A Turret Deployment Unit and MX-series installations.
- Knowledge of the Navy Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP).
