Overview
Tility is seeking a Security Specialist to support Government Security Managers in a dynamic, mission-focused environment. This role provides programmatic and administrative security support across physical security, access control, antiterrorism, OPSEC, information security, and general security functions in direct support of HQDA CIO and DCS G-6 operations. The Security Specialist will work closely with Government Security Managers to ensure security processes, documentation, and compliance activities are executed effectively and in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position will work onsite at the Pentagon, primary, and the secondary location of Fort Belvior, VA.

Responsibilities:
- Support physical security operations by conducting facility walkthroughs and assessments at the Pentagon, Fort Belvoir, and other locations as directed. Document observations, vulnerabilities, and recommended mitigations in writing and track corrective actions.
- Maintain restricted area rosters using the Area Access Manager (AAM) system. Prepare, route, track, and implement approved access requests, renewals, and terminations in accordance with Government direction.
- Prepare and route DD Form 2249 packages for Pentagon access (initial and renewal), track approved actions, and maintain audit-ready records.
- Coordinate combination changes and maintenance for restricted areas and safes with authorized locksmiths and maintain required documentation.
- Draft, update, and maintain physical security plans and supporting documentation for Government review and approval.
- Provide antiterrorism (AT) program support, including drafting and updating AT SOPs, supporting annual reviews, coordinating and documenting exercises, and maintaining required records. AT Level I certification is preferred.
- Attend security working groups and force protection committee meetings as required; prepare meeting minutes and maintain records in accordance with retention requirements.
- Support general security compliance efforts, including PED policy monitoring, proper marking and handling of sensitive information, and reporting of suspicious activity or security concerns to Government Security Managers.
- Communicate daily with Government Security Managers and provide advance notice for time off to ensure continuity of operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Secret clearance (TS clearance preferred)
- Demonstrated experience supporting physical security or controlled/restricted access environments.
- Experience with access control, roster management, and security documentation.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with security processing workflows and systems used for visit/access actions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Antiterrorism experience; AT Level I certification preferred
- Experience supporting security operations within the Pentagon or National Capital Region
- Familiarity with AAM or similar access management systems and DD Form 2249 workflows
Physical Requirements:
- Work is typically performed in an office setting.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must have the ability to lift 15-25 pounds.
