Build, deploy, and stabilize mission-critical software powering the nation's next-generation deep-space radar systems.
A Day in the Life - What You'll Do
- Develop new software features in C++ and Java supporting the DARC radar mission
- Install, deploy, and configure DARC software across operational radar systems
- Troubleshoot, debug, and implement corrective actions to resolve software deficiencies
- Collaborate with distributed software teams to investigate and resolve complex system issues
- Support ongoing development and integration of future DARC software releases
- Document deficiencies, fixes, and deployment outcomes to ensure long-term system stability
Required Qualifications
Citizenship & Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application
- Bachelor's degree in Science or related field with 5+ years of experience
- OR Master's degree with 3+ years of experience
- OR PhD with 1+ years of experience
- Development experience in C++, Java, and JavaScript
- Strong debugging expertise in complex software systems
- Experience working with MATLAB
- Familiarity with Linux (Red Hat) and Windows environments
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
- CompTIA Security+ (Security+) certification required
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% (with occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel to Eglin AFB or Australia as required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
- Experience with Radar Signal Processing
- Recent experience supporting OCONUS deployments
- Experience working onsite as part of a large, integrated technical team
