Build, deploy, and stabilize mission-critical software powering the nation's next-generation deep-space radar systems.

A Day in the Life - What You'll Do

• Develop new software features in C++ and Java supporting the DARC radar mission
• Install, deploy, and configure DARC software across operational radar systems
• Troubleshoot, debug, and implement corrective actions to resolve software deficiencies
• Collaborate with distributed software teams to investigate and resolve complex system issues
• Support ongoing development and integration of future DARC software releases
• Document deficiencies, fixes, and deployment outcomes to ensure long-term system stability

Required Qualifications
Citizenship & Clearance

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related field with 5+ years of experience
• OR Master's degree with 3+ years of experience
• OR PhD with 1+ years of experience

Software Engineering Skills

• Development experience in C++, Java, and JavaScript
• Strong debugging expertise in complex software systems
• Experience working with MATLAB
• Familiarity with Linux (Red Hat) and Windows environments

Tools & Methodologies

• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+ (Security+) certification required

Travel

• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% (with occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel to Eglin AFB or Australia as required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
• Experience with Radar Signal Processing
• Recent experience supporting OCONUS deployments
• Experience working onsite as part of a large, integrated technical team
