Position Title: AI Technical Requirements Analyst
Status: Permanent/Full-Time
Location: On-site/hybrid

Scope of Work: We are seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technical Requirements Analyst to drive the success of our AI initiatives by managing requirements, maintaining product backlogs, and facilitating agile ceremonies when necessary. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate AI/ML opportunities into actionable roadmaps and deliverables.
Position Description:
• Manage the creation, review, and analysis of requirements for AI initiatives
• Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
• Prepare and facilitate elicitation session with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
• Present all AI documentation to stakeholders (as needed to document systems operation, functional requirements, processes, and methodologies)
• Communicate and collaborate with both internal and external customers (i.e., developers, project managers and subject matter experts) to analyze information and requirements to deliver the required AI Solution
• Gather and synthesize feedback from stakeholders to inform AI solution direction
• Create and manage product backlogs with clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications
• Develop and maintain product and program roadmaps that align with organizational goals
• Partner with Development and Architecture Teams to implement AI solutions
• Serve as source of truth on the user story requirement
• Collaborate with the team lead to prioritize backlog items based on business value, technical dependencies, and strategic objectives
• Ability to engage in multiple projects / efforts simultaneously
• Support team lead as needed to:
o Facilitate scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
o Ensure the team maintains focus on sprint goals and deliverables
o Identify and resolve roadblocks to the team's progress, working with relevant stakeholders to address issues
Requirements/Experience:
• BA/BS/MS degree in related area
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role
• Interest in and basic understanding of AI/ML technologies and capabilities a must
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts such as machine learning models, natural language processing, computer vision, or predictive analytics strongly encouraged
• Proven track record of managing product backlogs and roadmaps
• Experience facilitating agile/scrum ceremonies
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, actionable requirements and user stories
• Must be a US citizen and hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance
