MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Transportation and HAZMAT Specialist to join our vehicle sustainment team in Jaworzyna Slaska, Poland. The selected candidate will provide logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support senior roles by assisting with functional duties under their oversight.
- Plan, direct, and oversee transportation, storage, and distribution activities in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Address transportation challenges related to operational, environmental, and human factors.
- Develop, manage, and implement environmental, safety, and occupational health programs.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and organizations through verbal and written exchanges.
- Handle hazardous materials and shelf-life items in accordance with DoD Shelf-Life Program and GCSS-Army guidelines.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience
- Experience in operating material handling equipment. Knowledge of industrial safety requirements; Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and personal safety equipment use.
- Fundamental knowledge of Import, Export, and ITAR Compliance.
- HAZMAT certified for declaring and transporting Dangerous Goods.
- Must have proof of completed training in the Army Training and Requirements Resource System (ATRRS) OR Department of the Air Force Learning Record (DAFLR)
- Experience in receipt, accountability, and inventory of equipment in a technical field or military environment.
- Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver's License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED, and a Passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.
Desired Qualifications:
- Fundamental knowledge of planning, coordinating, and transporting cargo within the European Union (EU).
- TC-AIMS II certified for coordinating the transport of U.S. Department of Defense cargo.
- Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen with a current/active secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
- Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard for long periods of time.
