Required Skills & Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience managing large servers and IT systems, both bare metal and virtual machines
- Experience managing and troubleshooting Networking layer 2 and 3, switches, routers, and firewalls
- Experience with Client Administration and Upgrades
- Experience managing cloud services (AWS and Azure)
- Experience managing data backup
- Strong documentation, communication, and coordination abilities
- Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Holds a Security Certification
- Holds Client Certification(s)
- 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
- Experience with Ansible, Client Aria, Power CLI Automation
- Experience in Mix Unix/Linux and Windows, Client, NAS/SAN Storage environment
- Experience with hybrid cloud environment
- 5 or more years leading technical teams
- An active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance and current Tier 5 (T5)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Work with Product Security, Software, and IT engineers to execute the Infrastructure and Tools team scope of work
- Interface effectively with multiple technical disciplines in a team environment
- Assist in transforming the existing Test IT Infrastructure and Tools
- Design networks and complex IT Infrastructure, including redundancy and disaster recovery systems
- Contribute to initiatives to upgrade existing infrastructure and lead the adoption of the latest technologies
- Implement best practices to manage a network server room
- Develop engineering documentation and processes to reduce waste and maximize repeatability
- Setup of infrastructure tools and environments such as Servers, Virtual Machine, Storage, Network/Firewall
- Champion Lab Excellence initiatives to continuously improve the server room environment
- Work in a hands-on lab environment with a variety of different types of test equipment
