Amentum is seeking a Housekeeper to support a Facilities O&M Services Contract. The Housekeeper will be responsible for providing day-to-day support under the Custodial/ Housekeeping areas of operations. The facilities for Housekeeping are typically operating from 0:700 to 16:00 M - F with occasional weekends and have competency for the following:

This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. The amount you are entitled to receive will vary depending upon the fringe benefits you select now and in the future.

- Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
- Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.
- Comply with all site policies and procedures.
- Follow instructions to detail for the task at hand by the housekeeping supervisor.
- Provide verbal feedback or detailed report to the housekeeping supervisor daily.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team for continuous improvements as well as housekeeping supervisor.
- Execute generated workorders from site's computer maintenance management system (CMMS) designated for the tradecraft area.
- Assist with maintaining inventory for various bldgs. custodial storage area of cleaning supplies for day-to-day used items/ consumables.
- Prepare and submit detailed purchase requests if needed for taskings/ work orders.
- Work with the O&M Supervisor for any issues or repairs found in day-to day operations with initiating a workorder(s) for mitigation of issues noticed/found.
- Assist with after hour banquets/ events preparation set ups and post event clean up when required.
Typical Housekeeping duties:
- Billet rooms require changing linens and making beds, laundering dirty linens, towels, shower curtains, cleaning toilets, sinks, and shower stalls, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting, dusting under/ around furniture, wiping/ polishing furniture, dusting T.V.s, cleaning mirrors, and preparing rooms for check in.
- Daily cleaning is typically scheduled for general routine cleaning every month in associated tasks for common areas such as: sweeping, mopping, trash collection and disposal, restroom sinks, toilets, shower stalls, laundering towels and linens, room turnover by established site standards for billet rooms, carpet edges, inside and outside door panels, door ledges, and thresholds.
- Billeting facilities require upon departure, clean the inside and outside of the refrigerators and microwaves and common areas are to be free of trash on tables and floors, trash receptacles emptied, kitchenettes cleaned and dishes put away.
- Deep Cleaning is typically scheduled for quarterly and semi-annual cleaning tasks for common areas and private rooms to include such as: cleaning windows inside and out, debugging lights, carpet cleaning, stripping and waxing floors, dust and wiping down all furniture, picture frames, baseboards.
- Perform laundry duties as assigned.
- Blow or sweep entrances to buildings.
- Remove cobwebs to entrance areas as needed.
Typical Custodial duties:
- Office buildings, recreational buildings and common areas require cleaning toilets, sinks, and shower stalls, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting, dusting under/ around furniture, wiping/ polishing furniture, dusting T.V.s, cleaning mirrors.
- Daily cleaning is typically scheduled for general routine cleaning every month in associated tasks for common areas such as: sweeping, mopping, trash collection and disposal, restroom sinks, toilets, shower stalls, laundering towels, carpet edges, cleaning inside and outside door panels, door ledges, and thresholds.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- H.S. diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ yrs. experience with similar like duties listed.
- Provide applicable certifications.
- Computer literacy to navigate online required training, time keeping, and email.
- A valid Driver's license form applicant's home state is required.
Additional Duties:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Being fit for duty.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly or as needed performing various assigned task (promote team lift when required).
- Ability to do the following for extended periods of time: stoop, bend, kneel, reach, twist, and carry.

- Ability of a flexible schedule to be able to work early mornings, evenings, and sometimes during holidays when required.
