Electrical Engineer – Senior (Mulitiple Positions Available)
Location: San Diego, CA (On-site)
Position Overview
The Senior Electrical Engineer serves in a lead technical capacity, executing complex engineering tasks with minimal supervision. This role supports advanced CID, IFF, and ATC systems and provides technical leadership across system integration, testing, certification, and documentation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the analysis, design, development, integration, testing, and evaluation of ID, IFF, and ATC systems and subsystems
Serve as a technical authority for system integration, CM, QA testing, and acquisition support activities
Prepare and review detailed engineering analyses, technical reports, and change proposals
Lead execution of complex engineering tasks and mentor junior engineers
Apply hands-on expertise with Combat Identification systems, including:
Centralized IFF
Interrogator Sets
Digital Interrogators
Transponder Sets
NCTR / SARTIS
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering or an approved engineering discipline
Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience
At least 4 years of experience supporting ID, ATC, or similar equipment, systems, or subsystems
Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical efforts independently
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting Navy or DoD acquisition or integration programs
Strong background in systems engineering and operational test environments
