We are looking for an AI Researcher to help build a frontier lab in medicine. The goal is to develop superintelligence about the human body to unlock “applications” that will radically transform health, including earlier detection of disease, more effective treatments, and ultimately, cures. Like other frontier efforts, we will build some applications in-house and partner on others.
Medicine is similar to robotics: bottlenecked by data. So we started by building a unique data collection engine that grows every day. With a SOTA dataset in sight for our first focus area–we are only interested in solving medicine’s greatest challenges, not incremental improvements–we’re now looking for an AI researcher to lead our pursuit of intelligence.
Responsibilities:
Design and train large-scale deep learning models for human biology
Define internal training and experimentation infrastructure
Inform data generation platform to tailor distributions
Help productize models to solve problems for stakeholders across medicine
Lay the foundation for a world-class AI research organization
Required Skills:
Experience training large-scale models, at the frontier
Comfortable with high ownership, fast pace, and going beyond your role
Interest in health or biology (experience not required)
