Summary:
The Unconventional (TU) is seeking a qualified Information Technology (IT) Supervisor to provide Contracted Logistic Support (CLS) in support of the Georgia Combat Training Center (CTC) program. The contractor shall provide CLS and Exercise Support (ES) on a full-time basis consisting of Field Service Representative (FSRs) support activities based at the Joint Training Evaluation Center (JTEC) in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Supervises IT personnel
• Coordinates with Georgia Defense Forces (GDF) officer responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution of training exercises being conducted at the training center
• Provides technical support to monitor and investigate IT systems (i.e. networks (to include all microwave systems being delivered under this effort), communications, video/audio systems) failures and repairs
• Supervises the maintenance and repair of EXCON and AAR equipment
• Troubleshooting and repair of any damaged/non-functional hardware or software fielded under this effort or under previous MILES deliveries using the available spare/repair parts and ST&TE on site as required
• Packing, shipping, customs clearing, and tracking of non-functional hardware fielded under this effort presenting defects of material and or workmanship that cannot be repaired on site and have to be sent back to the contractor’s facility for repair or replacement
• Assistance and refresher training to the customer on the use, operation, and maintenance of the hardware and/or software fielded under this effort or under previous MILES deliveries
• Exercise support to the customer during training exercises where the hardware and/or software fielded under this effort or under previous MILES deliveries is used
• Maintenance of accurate records and data of hardware and/or software fielded under this effort or under previous MILES deliveries
• Performance of repairs/maintenance tasks In Accordance With (IAW) the applicable System Maintenance Manual
• Preparation and delivery of monthly reports on all maintenance actions accomplished
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree specialized in IT (software – networks)
• Experience conducting the same and/or similar duties as those outlined in this job announcement
• Versed in military training and procedures, is preferred
• Must complete all required contract training
Clearance: Requires an active US SECRET clearance and Georgia MOD approval.
Location: Tbilisi, Georiga
Travel: OCONUS travel will be required.
