THE WORK
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to develop compelling narratives that support business and risk-management objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders to uncover novel data sources, ensure data quality, and deliver actionable insights through visualizations and dashboards.
In this role you will:
• Collect, process, and analyze data to develop immersive stories that answer business questions.
• Apply proven statistical methods to draw insights and translate them into actionable business results.
• Identify and acquire novel data sources to enrich analyses.
• Perform data mining, processing, and summarization while ensuring data quality.
• Query databases, ensure quality of data scraping, and resolve data issues promptly.
• Analyze large datasets, derive valid inferences, and prepare and present insights via narratives, visualizations, or dashboards.
• Establish and maintain data pipelines and new analytics capabilities.
• Produce and monitor key performance indicators.
• Formulate functional and technical requirements from business problems.
• Program-management of key tasks and resources to achieve cost and schedule objectives
• Perform root cause analysis using analytics.

Basic Qualifications:
• In-Depth knowledge of SQL, SharePoint, Tableau,
and Microsoft Office products.
• Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) 4790.2 maintenance documentation requirements.
• This position requires a Secret government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
• This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).
• This position will involve around 10% travel.
• Root Cause Analysis experience and certification.

• T/M/S H-53 Maintenance Knowledge
• LSS/Blackbelt certification
• H-53 Maintenance knowledge/experience
• H-53 Aircrew Experience
• Experienced with the application of statistics and data-mining (trend discovery and analysis, text mining, correlation and pattern discovery).
• Demonstrated excellent team building and interpersonal skills, capable of relationship building with key internal and external stakeholders, and employees at all levels across multiple geographic locations.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross functional teams, both remote and in-person.
Exceptional verbal and written skills, and the ability to present complex technical issues to
customers and LM management.
• Ability to help develop analytical tools for H-53 heavy lift programs that help optimize performance and reduce cost.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
