We are expanding our legal capabilities to support multiple RMS market segments across the SEMS portfolio. By strengthening our in-house counsel function, we aim to proactively manage contractual risk, ensure compliance with ever-changing FAR/DFAR requirements, and enable rapid, informed decision-making for complex government, international, and commercial transactions.
The Work:
Serve as the primary legal lead for several RMS market segments, reporting directly to the General Counsel of SEMS with a dotted-line to the General Counsel of MIC2.
Provide end-to-end counsel on U.S. government, international, and commercial contracting matters, including FAR/DFAR procurements, Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs), Commercial Services Agreements (CSOs), and related non-traditional vehicles.
Conduct proactive risk analyses, develop mitigation strategies, and advise functional and business leaders on legal implications.
Deliver targeted training and guidance on best legal practices to senior leadership, VPs, and functional experts.
Coordinate closely with internal subject-matter experts and, when needed, outside counsel to resolve complex issues.
Lead government protest and bid-challenge matters, staying current on regulatory developments and recommending process improvements.

Basic Qualifications:
• Proven, deep experience in Federal government procurement law.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. government, international, and commercial contracting regimes.
• Current Secret level security clearance (required).
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and lead legal initiatives without close supervision.
• Track record of taking primary ownership of complex, high impact legal projects.
• Skilled at energizing and partnering with cross functional teams (e.g., program management, finance, engineering).

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $156,400 - $275,655. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
