Amentum seeks Financial Manager/Project Control Officer for the BOS-E contract under the Naval Supply Command (NAVSUP). The work location will be on the island of Diego Garcia in the British Indian Ocean (UK). This position includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Essential responsibilities and daily duties include:
- Lead with independence and resourcefulness; serve as a knowledge resource and mentor for others and is responsible for continuously developing their skills and abilities.
- Aptitude for new and existing computer technology;
- Tracks the funding of multiple departments and adheres to GAAP in creating and maintaining budgets.
Essential Responsibilities
- Apply accounting principles to track and analyze financial data and prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for customers.
- Monitor financial adherence to customer requirements and budgets.
- Develop and maintain a Contract Line-Item Number (CLIN) database for all contract purchases.
- Reconcile and approve vendor invoices for payment.
- Analyze financial information to forecast option year budgets.
- Review cash requirements and prepare for future procurement.
- Administer Level of Effort (LOE) and cost-type contracts.
- Maintain security clearance requirements and ensure all financial activities comply with CONUS-based operations in the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA).
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Education Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five (5) years of experience working with government contracts. An additional 4 years may be substituted for candidates who meet a GED/High School Diploma requirement. An additional 2 Years may be substituted
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Excel and Access Database.
- Extensive knowledge of government contract management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive financial reports and forecasts.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining compliance with financial regulations and budgets.
- Possession of a Secret clearance at the start of the contract.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands
- The position is OCONUS at a military installation.
- The role requires prolonged periods of sitting, use of computers, and engagement in routine office tasks.
- Mental demands include the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines.
- The work involves a high level of collaboration and communication with team members and external stakeholders.
