Senior Cyber Counterintelligence Officer

Amentum is seeking a Senior Cyber Counterintelligence Officer to support our U.S. Department of Energy and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN) contract. Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C area.

Responsibilities Serves as a Senior Cyber CI Officer; specific duties and functions include, but are not limited to:

• Providing integrated CI cyber-investigative and technical expertise supporting the Counterintelligence Directorate.
• Identify, investigate and analyze cyber events of CI significance.
• Adapt and develop tools for applying standard cyber security and analysis practices to the CI mission.
• Analyze classified and unclassified networks to identify security vulnerabilities and intrusion detection parameters.
• Conduct liaison and work cyber counterintelligence investigations with interagency partners.
• Report changes, trends and implications of evolving CI-cyber issues.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college relevant to geopolitical or national security studies. A Master's Degree, Juris Doctor, or higher, and/or foreign language written and spoken proficiency (such as Russian, Arabic, Farsi, Hindi, or related languages) are highly desirable.
• Fifteen (15) years of experience in counterintelligence (CI) analysis, as a primary case agent in counterintelligence case management at DOE, the FBI or DOD.
• Investigative experience and to have conducted cyber counterintelligence investigations as a primary case agent for a federal agency such as the DOE, FBI, CIA or DOD.
• Experience in conducting cyber and counterintelligence investigations and the ability to work with interagency partners.
• Cyber investigative know-how within the counterintelligence field with specific experience in the collection, analysis, evaluation and dissemination of CI-cyber information is required.

Compensation Details:
$166,000-$200,000
