Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Access Control in Camden, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will monitor access points, report unusual activity, and respond to requests with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials when authorized, and directing employees, contractors, and guests according to site procedures.
• Monitor alarms, access control systems, and/or CCTV as assigned, and report irregular conditions through the chain of command.
• Perform vehicle and/or package screening as required by post orders, following inspection protocols and escalation procedures.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, including maintaining logs and supporting investigations as requested.
• Communicate professionally with client representatives, employees, and/or first responders, providing clear directions during routine operations and emergency situations.
• Support compliance with site rules related to restricted areas, photography limitations, and controlled materials by observing and reporting concerns.
• Operate in varying indoor and outdoor conditions, including walking and standing for extended periods while performing patrol and access control duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
