Responsibilities
Arcfield is looking for a SYSTEMS ENGINEER to join a skilled, highly respected and long-standing team supporting Integration, Testing, and Analysis for operational and emerging systems. This position requires an understanding of the Intelligence Community and customer domain, along with a strong focus on Systems Engineering processes in support of operational mission execution. The successful candidate could support product evaluations, trade studies, new product initializations, and/or algorithm assessments. Familiarity with current GEOINT systems and products will be useful to develop, assess, and execute test and verification methodologies. Activities may include, but are not limited to:

The successful candidate could support product evaluations, trade studies, new product initializations, and/or algorithm assessments. Familiarity with current GEOINT systems and products will be useful to develop, assess, and execute test and verification methodologies. Activities may include, but are not limited to:
- Perform analysis and evaluations of operational capabilities
- Perform project management required for integrating, testing, and evaluating systems
- Conduct baseline assessment of system performance to support mission initializations
- Evaluate algorithms to quantify the performance given its desired mission application
- Respond to anomalous mission behaviors to recommend possible causes and corrective actions
Qualifications
Required:
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- 8 to 10 years with BS or 6 to 8 years with MS or 3 to 5 years with a PhD in a Degree in Imaging Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or STEM field, or successful completion of an accredited U.S. military/government imagery analysis training program
- Experience working directly with or general knowledge of PAN, IR, MSI, RADAR, LIDAR, and FMV imagery and associated products, such as Full Spectrum GEOINT (FSG)
- Knowledge or experience in all facets of imagery exploitation, artifact/anomaly identification
- Experience in mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis and assessment
- Understanding of the systems engineering life cycle to include independent testing and data verification
- Independently determines and develops approach to solutions
- Proficient in oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter who requires minimum supervision
- Ability to assume a team lead role for the work group
- Demonstrated ability and success working in team environments
Desired:
- Experience working in a DoD or IC operational environment
- Experience working on Product Initialization teams
- Understanding of Machine Learning and Neural Network algorithms
- Working knowledge of coding/scripting techniques (e.g. C, Python, MATLAB, IDL)
- Working knowledge of various basic ELTs
