Position: Doors Administrator/SME
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid/On-Site)
Length: 12 Month Contract

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Process Development: set up processes for authorizing and creating DOORS modules, compliant with contractual and security policies
• Process Development: set up processes for authorizing and assigning user roles and permissions
• Process Development: Implement above module creation and role/permission assignment processes, compliant with contractual and security policies
• Content Development: Develop “Wiki” or Confluence-type pages for: FAQs, Best Practices, Processes/Procedures
• Exporting from DOORS: support publishing from DOORS by defining and deploying processes or workflows which enable the exporting of different engineering artifacts from DOORS.
• Stretch Goal: define and implement a backup/recovery/spill mediation-type plan (recurring)
• Stretch Goal: work as a member of a team which will be looking to establish connections w/ DOORS and other corporate/program tools (DOORS to MagicDraw…3DX…Jira, etc.)
• Field user question pertaining to the use of DOORS and corresponding best practices
• Content: Maintain “Wiki” or Confluence-type pages for: FAQs, Best Practices, Processes/Procedures
• Admin: support users of DOORS in the creation of exports.
• Admin: create accounts & projects
• Admin: ID, define necessary/to-be-implemented, communicate, and perform DOORS updates.
• Admin: implementation/integration of DB constraints and guidelines into the modules (i.e. DXL scripts to set up SDDVP attributes, versions, force common change practices, etc.)

Qualifications:
• Experience as DOORS Administrator.
• Experience working in a cross-functional, technical environment.
• Demonstrated experience responding to “help” calls for support end-users.
• Experience with publishing with exports from DOORS.
• BONUS: able to support deployment of RPE (Rational Publishing Engine).
