Position Description Summary:
This is a senior application programmer (SAP) to Serve as Sustainment Lead or Sustainment Subject Matter Expert (SME). This position requires expert level knowledge of sustainment life cycle management activities for programs and project operations.
This position will analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, manpower, logistics, and contracts. Develops block diagrams and logic flowcharts.
Responsibilities:
This SAP translates detailed design into computer software. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and refine the computer software to produce the required product. Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Enhance software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency. Provide technical direction to programmers, as required, to ensure that program deadlines are met. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
Skills & Experience:
• Expert experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations and Webmaster technical expertise certifications.
• Expertise with a proven track record in Agile Code Development along with experience in DLA Policies & Procedure
• Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) to support Low-Code/No-Code development of Platform models.
• Experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools.
• Experience developing application/process automation software based on BPMN models.
• Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development.
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Experience with C#, Microsoft SQL Server Databases and Microsoft .NET development environment.
• Experience as a senior application programmer on large-scale DBMS, knowledge of computers equipment, and ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology related field with ten (10) years of relevant experience.
• Relevant certifications from a nationally recognized technical authority
• Experience and working knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework and compliance requirements in application development.
Security Clearance Required:
• Must have Secret clearance or equivalent background investigation.
