As a Security Officer Armed Aerospace Clearance Required in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-profile aero and defense location as an Armed Patrol Officer. You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter incidents, and respond to alarms and access control needs with clear, respectful communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Maintain possession and control of assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies, training requirements, and applicable laws.
- Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Control access at designated entry points by checking credentials, verifying authorization, and directing visitors to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and other security-related systems, and communicate observations and issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assessing conditions, coordinating notifications, and requesting medical or law enforcement assistance when needed.
- Complete detailed, timely reports of patrol activity, access control actions, incidents, and other security-related events using written logs and/or electronic reporting tools.
- Support protection of controlled areas and sensitive operations by enforcing posted rules, screening for prohibited items when assigned, and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
- Provide escort and/or route support for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in designated areas when assigned.
- Participate in drills, briefings, and post orders updates, and follow all use of force and de-escalation guidelines as required by Allied Universal and the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2+ years of security experience.
- Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience OR a college degree.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21+ years of age.
- Possess Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
