What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business areas and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points, visitor traffic, deliveries and/or contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Operate and observe security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms and/or access control platforms, and report irregular activity per post orders.
- Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs and/or shift handoff notes using required written and electronic systems.
- Support a technology-focused workplace by assisting with badging workflows, verifying credentials and/or coordinating with site contacts for authorized access.
- Communicate with client representatives and Allied Universal leadership to relay concerns, document observations and/or request assistance as needed.
- Assist with emergency preparedness tasks such as participating in drills, helping manage evacuations and/or directing people to designated assembly locations when required.
- Maintain a professional presence at all times while helping to deter unauthorized access, property damage and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
