SOSi is seeking a Computer Network Defense Administrator in Wiesbaden, Germany. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in securing and defending enterprise-level network infrastructures. This role involves the daily administration, configuration, and monitoring of perimeter defense systems, including firewalls, web proxies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), to ensure the integrity and availability of critical communication systems in support of theater-level mission requirements.
Essential Job Duties
- Provide senior-level technical support for the administration and operation of network firewalls, web proxies, and IDS/IPS devices.
- Manage the configuration and maintenance of security appliances to ensure the effective filtering of malicious traffic and unauthorized access attempts.
- Monitor network security posture and utilize specialized tools to identify, report, and remediate security vulnerabilities and potential intrusions.
- Ensure the secure flow of traffic across the enterprise by managing Load Balancers and Application Delivery Controllers to optimize performance and availability.
- Enforce strict STIG compliance and security protocols across all network defense hardware to maintain the security and confidentiality of the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN).
- Prepare security incident reports, network defense diagrams, and status updates to support theater-wide security initiatives and leadership decision-making.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Active in scope Secret clearance with T5.
- BA/BS degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Science, Business Administration, or Mathematics) plus three (3) years of specialized experience OR Associate's degree plus seven (7) years of specialized experience OR a major professional certification plus seven (7) years of specialized experience OR eleven (11) years of specialized experience.
- Possession of at least one of the following: Network and/or Integrated Detection/Prevention Systems certification or F5 certified: F5-CA or F5-CTS or F5-CSE or Blue Coat Certified Proxy Administrator (BCCPA) or Cisco Certified: CCNA or CCNP (any track) or CCIE (any track) or Cisco CyberOps Professional.
The following experience may be concurrent.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience using and maintaining network firewalls, web proxies, and/or IDS/IPS devices.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with enterprise network routing/switching devices (manufacturer non-specific).
- Minimum two (2) years of direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems.

Work Environment
- Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
