Cloud Software Engineer

Peraton is seeking a talented Cloud Software Engineer to join our dynamic Cyber Missions team in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, you'll work at the forefront of cloud and cyber technologies, helping to design, develop, and sustain mission-critical systems that have real-world impact.
You'll contribute across the full software lifecycle, collaborating with skilled engineers and stakeholders to perform requirements analysis, cloud software development, installation, integration, testing, validation, and ongoing enhancement. You'll also play a key role in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (e.g., Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering).
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in software development or engineering across the full lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, integration, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience developing software using high-level programming languages such as Java, C, or C++.
- At least 2 years of experience in software integration and testing, including creating and executing test plans and scripts.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
