Description
SAIC is seeking an Integrated Product Support Logistician to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.
NOTE: This position is 100% remote/work from home.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient support of defense systems throughout their lifecycle.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
• Planning, coordinating, and managing logistics activities such as maintenance planning, risk management, and lifecycle support.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and DoD clients to achieve optimal product support and operational readiness.
• Plan, develop, and manage logistics support for defense systems across their lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal.
• Create an Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP).
• Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and availability of defense systems.
• Develop Levels of Repair Analysis (LORAs) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) plans.
• Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with DoD standards.
• Identify and mitigate logistics risks ensuring continuous support and operational readiness.
• Work closely with internal teams, DoD clients, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of logistics activities with operational requirements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive logistics documentation, including support plans, procedures, and reports.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field,
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related roles, preferably within the defense industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
