Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:
• Clearance Requirement: Candidates must be US citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance as a condition and continuation of employment (client is not able to sponsor for “net new” clearance)
• 2+ years of experience of Linux experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of professional experience in lieu of degree
• Active Security+ certification (or be willing to obtain within 6 months of starting)
• Experience with Desktop Development
• Required Technical Skills: C, C++, Linux, System/Software Design, GitLab and Java
• Required Skills and Abilities: Application Development, Software Development, Problem Solving, understanding network communication
• Must be open to working 100% on site
• Must be open to working four 10 hour work days (this role works 4 days per week on site, 10 hours per day)
Title: Software Developer
Location: 100% on site in Bossier City, LA
Duration: 6 months contract to hire
Pay range: $40 - $45 per hour contingent upon experience
