Description:What We Do
Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) National Team (NT) at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.

The Work
As a senior data analyst on the System Test Analysis team within the C2BMC NT the candidate will be responsible for performing analysis of test event data and coordinating observations and resolutions across various development and test teams within C2BMC, as well as assisting with coordination with the Missile Defense Agency customer. The candidate will be a part of a focused technical team verifying and validating metrics, statistics and descriptive analysis of test data from Missile Defense Systems in development in support of national security. Additional responsibilities include the following:
• Participate in the development of metrics, statistics, and descriptive analysis to support the evaluation of C2BMC system performance.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify meaningful patterns and trends from test datasets, employing statistical methods to validate or reject hypotheses about the data.
• Employ techniques such as data visualization, simulation, and system modeling to achieve desired analysis results.
• Assist in developing straightforward solutions to technical problems discovered and create actionable insights for C2BMC test team and decision makers.
• Collaborate with the development team to communicate key test findings and assist with anomaly resolution.
• Assist with the planning, scheduling and development of new software verification, analysis and test tracking tools and maintenance of existing toolsets
• Ensure proper backup/archiving of test products and analysis datasets.

Please Note:
• This position requires a government security clearance at the Secret level; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
• This position is located at Schriever, Space Force Base 10 miles east of Colorado Springs, CO and is 100% onsite.
• Occasional off-hours work may be required during specific events.
• This position may involve around 10% travel to our customer sites throughout the U.S.

Basic Qualifications:
• A final secret clearance is required prior to starting
• DoD 8570 IAT Level-II certification (e.g. Sec+) is required or must be able to obtain it within 60 days of starting.
• Experience with an object-oriented coding languages (i.e. Python, Java, etc.)
• Experience manipulating and working with large data sets.
• Experience preforming analysis and analyzing data patterns.
• Strong background in Mathematics and Physics.
Desired Skills:
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Working knowledge of ballistic or non-ballistic missile defense concepts, Command and Control (C2) systems, defense communication systems, the Missile Defense System (MDS) in general, and Space Domain Awareness.
• Experience in the use of COTS modeling, simulation, and analysis tools.
• Some experience in message-based analysis of complex systems
• Experience with using and maintaining relational databases is highly desired
• Experience in the use of software test and analysis tools.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,900 - $184,920. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
