SOSi is seeking a Network Administration Support Specialist in Wiesbaden, Germany. The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in the daily administration, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise-level network infrastructures. This role involves performing high-level administrative tasks, ensuring network availability, and managing secure access to critical communication systems in support of theater-level mission requirements.
Essential Job Duties:
- Provide advanced-level technical support for the administration and operations of enterprise network hardware and software.
- Execute the daily maintenance of routing and switching infrastructures to ensure continuous connectivity and optimal traffic flow.
- Manage and coordinate limited/privileged access security to ensure authorized personnel have appropriate entry to network resources.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to monitor network health, identify potential issues, and implement proactive administrative fixes.
- Ensure all network administrative actions align with the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) standards and maintain strict STIG compliance.
- Prepare technical documentation, network diagrams, and status reports to support theater-wide processing initiatives and leadership decision-making.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Active in scope Secret clearance.
- BA/BS degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Science, Business Administration, or Mathematics) plus three (3) years of specialized experience OR Associate's degree plus seven (7) years of specialized experience OR a major professional certification plus seven (7) years of specialized experience OR eleven (11) years of specialized experience.
- Possession of at least one of the following: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security or Juniper Network Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS).
The following experience may be concurrent.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience maintaining and developing TCP/IP networks (on Ethernet, ATM/SONET and/or wide area transports).
- Minimum three (3) years of direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of VLAN management, IP address planning (IPv4/IPv6), and subnetting.
- Experience with secure network tunneling and VPN administration.
- Familiarity with Cisco Prime or other centralized network management suites.
- Prior experience supporting theater-level network operations centers

Work Environment
- Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
