SOSi is seeking a Senior Network Management Support (Technical) lead in Wiesbaden, Germany. The ideal candidate will possess experience overseeing daily operations, technical management, and proactive maintenance of enterprise-level network infrastructures in support of theater-level mission requirements. This role involves managing network health, optimizing performance, and providing advanced technical support to ensure the continuous availability of critical communication systems.
Essential Job Duties
- Provide senior-level technical support for the management and operation of complex network hardware and software systems.
- Monitor and lead the technical response to network performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime for theater-level communication systems.
- Manage the maintenance and updates of routing and switching configurations to ensure secure and efficient traffic flow across the enterprise.
- Oversee the performance of the wide area network (WAN) and local area network (LAN), utilizing management tools to identify and remediate bottlenecks.
- Ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) by enforcing strict STIG compliance and coordinating elevated/privileged access security.
- Provide situational assessments, network health metrics, and technical support to address emerging operational requirements and theater-wide initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Active in scope Secret clearance with T5.
- BA/BS degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Science, Business Administration, or Mathematics) plus five (5) years of specialized experience OR Associate's degree plus seven (7) years of specialized experience OR a major professional certification plus seven (7) years of specialized experience OR eleven (11) years of specialized experience.
- Possession of at least one of the following: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security or Juniper Network Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS).
The following experience may be concurrent.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience maintaining and developing TCP/IP networks (on Ethernet, ATM/SONET and/or wide area transports).
- Minimum three (3) years of direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Network Management Systems tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, or Juniper Mist.
- Strong understanding of SNMP protocols and network monitoring best practices.
- Advanced knowledge of firewall management and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in technical writing for developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prior experience supporting theater-level network operations centers.

Work Environment
- Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
