**This position is contingent upon contract award**

SOSi is seeking a Senior Network Service Engineering Support Lead in Wiesbaden, Germany. The ideal candidate will possess experience in overseeing the engineering, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise-level network architectures in support of theater-level mission requirements. The role involves leading technical engineering efforts, ensuring network integrity, and providing high-level technical support to ensure mission success across complex communication systems.

Essential Job Duties

• Provide senior-level engineering support for the development, integration, and implementation of complex network hardware and software.
• Lead the technical planning and execution of network upgrades, resource allocation, and risk mitigation for theater-level communication systems.
• Ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) through proactive monitoring and advanced troubleshooting.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for government stakeholders to coordinate network priorities and align engineering efforts with mission schedules.
• Provide situational assessments and proactive engineering support to address emerging network requirements and theater-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Active in scope Secret clearance.
• BA/BS degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Science, Business Administration, or Mathematics) plus three (3) years of specialized experience OR Associate's degree plus seven (7) years of specialized experience OR a major professional certification plus seven (7) years of specialized experience OR eleven (11) years of specialized experience.
• Certified as a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Juniper Network Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS).
• Minimum five (5) years of experience maintaining and developing TCP/IP networks (Ethernet, ATM/SONET, and/or Wide Area transports); at least three (3) of those years must include direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems (experience may be concurrent).

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of an expert-level certification (CCIE or JNCIE).
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and DoD Comply-to-Connect standards.
• Proficiency in network automation (Python, Ansible) or SD-WAN technologies.
• Prior experience supporting theater-level network operations centers.

Work Environment

• Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
• May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
