SAIC is seeking a driven Model-Based Systems Engineer to join our team of experts providing operational and mission support to a government customer in Virginia.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of a department-side architecture tool, leveraging Model-Based Systems Engineering via the Cameo application suite
- In concert with team members, collaborate with department teams and external stakeholders to gather future architecture requirements, functions, and behaviors as well as gather applicable characteristics of existing systems
- Develop detailed diagrams to capture information gathered from various stakeholders in an MBSE approach
- Present architecture products to stakeholders for feedback and update to meet evolving needs
- Support the development of requirements documents based on the future architecture
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with relevant polygraph
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, or Master's and 6 years, or PhD and 3 years are required.
- Previous experience with the IC
- Working knowledge of MBSE
- Systems Engineering experience to include:
- Development of CONOPS/Use Cases
- Ability to decompose system functions and behaviors
- Requirements development and management
- Good time management skills; ability to support multiple projects; ability to multi-task
- Must be a team player and possess a strong ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team as well as work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp-up to support customer's needs, clearly communicate (orally and written) ideas, take initiative to provide creative solutions to challenges and/or systemic problems
