Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

We are building the future of situational awareness. Our Sentry platform integrates robotics, autonomy, hardware, and software to deliver mission-critical capabilities in defense and security, with an expanding footprint into commercial markets. With a rapidly growing fleet and new product variants in development, we partner across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, business development, and more to deliver cutting-edge systems at scale.
ABOUT THE JOB

As the Data Analytics Lead for Sentinel, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw data into strategic advantages for our business line. This is a hands-on, builder-operator role for a highly technical and strategic individual who thrives on untangling complex, ambiguous problems. You will design, implement, and maintain robust data systems, enabling our teams to make more informed decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering principles, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to effectively bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business needs. You will be instrumental in developing data products and tooling that directly impact our operational efficiency, product development, and overall business strategy.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Design and maintain scalable data systems: Architect and build data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and modeling structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from diverse sources, ensuring data quality, timeliness, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate to bridge technical and business needs: Partner closely with engineering, product, supply chain, manufacturing, and field operations teams to understand their data challenges and translate them into effective data solutions.
  • Develop analytics and tooling that shape decision-making: Create a spectrum of data solutions, from scrappy, ad hoc analyses and dashboards for rapid iteration to scalable data pipelines and products that inform strategic platform growth and operational efficiency.
  • Work deeply within Anduril's business systems: Understand and leverage data from our ERP, MRP, MES, and other systems to gain a comprehensive view of how processes and data flow across the Sentry development and operational lifecycle.
  • Drive efficiency and accelerate Sentry development cycles: Analyze data from hardware development, manufacturing, and supply chains to identify bottlenecks, optimize processes, and implement data-driven improvements that shorten time-to-market for new Sentry variants and capabilities.
  • Enhance Sentry operational performance and fleet management: Utilize data to understand fleet performance in the field (across defense and commercial use cases), optimize deployment strategies, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of sustainment operations for the growing Sentry fleet.
  • Project manage across teams: Lead meetings, facilitate discussions, and manage digital communication channels to direct stakeholders towards effective solutions that advance the Sentry platform's objectives.
  • Partner with senior leaders: Bring structure, insight, and velocity to Anduril's highest-priority data analytics challenges within the Sentry ecosystem by providing clear, data-backed recommendations and driving execution.
  • Leverage self-directed problem-solving and strategic acumen: Work autonomously to resolve data challenges, exhibiting intellectual humility to ask probing questions and grasp strategic imperatives that can be addressed with data analytics and modeling.
  • Champion data governance and best practices: Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance, while promoting data literacy and self-service capabilities within the organization.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years of experience in consulting, business operations, strategy, or engineering/technical roles, ideally with exposure to complex hardware/software systems.
  • You're technical-you are data-driven, understand systems, and know how to communicate with engineering and product teams
  • You can zoom out to define frameworks, build business cases, and integrate solutions into broader company initiatives, with a focus on scaling platforms
  • You have a strong bias for action and a preference for designing and implementing better solutions rather than patching around existing problems.
  • You thrive on untangling complex, messy problems and are energized by creating order from chaos, particularly in a rapidly evolving product environment.
  • You're clear-you communicate effectively, including in both technical and non-technical contexts.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with technical systems in hardware + software environments, particularly in robotics, autonomy, or defense/commercial integrated systems (e.g., logistics tech, manufacturing systems, ERP implementations).
  • Background working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments without a playbook, particularly in a hyper-growth setting.
  • Experience with data manipulation, analysis, and visualization tools (e.g., Palantir Foundry, SQL, Python/Pandas, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with data pipeline concepts or ETL processes.
  • Experience working within defense, aerospace, or mission-critical technology environments with a focus on product scaling.
  • Understanding of fleet management, deployment operations, or sustainment analytics.
