Job Overview
Electrical Engineer 1 is an entry-level position that role involves designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components and works under the guidance of senior engineers and assists in various projects and tasks related to electrical design, analysis, and troubleshooting.

Essential Functions
• Assist with developing and maintaining electrical system documentation including wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Assist with analyzing and interpreting technical data, such as specifications, blueprints, and schematics, to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Familiarity with military standards related to reliability and safety is preferred.
• Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and clients to identify and resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
• Support the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide technical support to production staff as needed
• Assist with research and design with respect to electrical load, function and environmental conditions.
• Assist with defining and documenting electrical interfaces between Aircraft and component system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies
• Basic knowledge of aircraft installation safety assessments (FAR and /or CS25309)
• Familiar with aircraft compliance verification test documents
• Understanding of configuration / document control.
• Strong communication skills
• Hands-on experience using design and calculation software
• Familiarity with programming languages: C#, Java, C++
• Knowledge and understanding of electrical manufacturing processes

Education / Certifications
• BS/BA in Engineering or applicable field.

Experience
• 0 - 3 years of electrical engineering experience
• Experience in Aerospace and ISR preferred

Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Top-Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
