An aerospace client is looking for a Cable and Harness Technician with Active Secret Clearance to Manufacture cable / harness products.

Location: Melbourne, FL 32904 (Onsite)
Position: Cable and Harness Technician with Active Secret Clearance
Pay Rate: $25.58/hr. - $27.30/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 4×10 (Mon-Thurs.)

Responsibilities:
  • A Cable and Harness Technician to Manufacture cable / harness products.
  • Reads and interprets Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings.
  • Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed.
  • Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks.
  • Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the detailed aspects of cable designs. Verify material identification and ensure traceability during the fabrication and testing process.
  • Validate quality of hardware and perform duties at a moderate complexity. Ensure all materials are properly labeled and stored following engineering and planning requirements.
  • Ensures completeness, accuracy, and adherence to procedures and shop practice. Communicate any inconsistencies, deviations, or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • The selected candidate will support lab fabrication, and other processes in a team-based environment

Basic Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must have active DOD Secret level clearance, and the ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years of additional education and/or related experience.
  • The role involves moderate physical effort, repetitive tasks, and occasional lifting of items weighing up to 50?lbs.
  • Ability read and interpret engineering work instructions and schematics

Preferred Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience
• Technical Degree or some college.
• Proficiency with hands-on mechanical assembly, electronics testing, and electronics evaluation.
