SaaS Cloud Lab Tech

Blu Omega is looking for a SaaS Cloud Lab Tech that will bridge the gap between cutting-edge cloud technologies and groundbreaking scientific research, empowering researchers to leverage cloud environments for discovery, experimentation, and sustainability. Your expertise will facilitate seamless communication between scientific stakeholders and technical teams, fostering a collaborative environment that accelerates advancements in biomedical research.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a key liaison between scientific staff and technical teams, translating research needs into effective SaaS solutions.
• Promote stakeholder engagement through strategic communication and change management, ensuring successful adoption of cloud tools.
• Develop training materials and learning resources to facilitate stakeholder understanding and product adoption.
• Coordinate cross-functional client groups to support SaaS deployment, ensuring alignment with broader IT strategies.
• Create and present reports on SaaS metrics such as license utilization, usage rates, and support ticket trends.
• Support the integration of SaaS tools into existing research workflows, troubleshooting issues and fostering smooth operational transitions.
• Collaborate with the Scientific SaaS Specialist project manager to enhance service delivery and optimize SaaS offerings for NIH research needs.

Qualifications:

• Baseline knowledge of SaaS concepts; familiarity with specific SaaS tools is a plus (can be developed on the job).
• Strong skills in data visualization and report building.
• Experience with technology change management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications; familiarity with ProSci methodologies is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize client needs, fostering cross-team collaboration-preferred but can be developed on the job.
• Knowledge of IT organizational structures and enterprise support environments.
• Proven ability to develop training and learning materials for stakeholder engagement and product adoption.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams and promoting IT alignment.
• Demonstrated capability in creating solutions to complex problems within collaborative environments.
• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with cloud-native tools and services.
• Experience working within NIH or other federal agencies.
• Certifications in project management or change management methodologies.
• Knowledge of biomedical research workflows or laboratory operations.

Salary Range: $74,690-$103,825
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
