Responsibilities:
- Lead discrete workstreams and project components supporting CMMI models and CCSQ initiatives, ensuring effective policy implementation and operational excellence.
- Support the design, execution, and evaluation of federal health programs, translating complex policy requirements into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Serve as a dedicated client partner, delivering high-quality, timely solutions, and building trust through clear communication and responsiveness.
- Contribute to business development efforts by assisting in proposal development, research, and capturing new opportunities aligned with CMS priorities.
- Monitor emerging CMS models and procurement trends to inform strategic growth activities.
- Foster and maintain strong professional relationships with CMS clients and industry partners, representing the firm confidently in meetings and industry forums.
- Provide mentorship and task leadership to junior team members, promoting continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of total experience and a Bachelors Degree
- 6+ years of experience in federal health policy, healthcare payment models, or health care quality programs.
- Proven support experience with Medicare value-based payment models or quality reporting programs; familiarity with CMMI models is highly desirable.
- 2-4+ years of experience in a federal contracting or government environment, with direct or supporting roles in CMS, CMMI, or CCSQ programs.
- Strong ability to manage workstreams, develop client deliverables, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
- Developing expertise in CMS innovation, alternative payment models, or quality measurement frameworks.
- Familiarity with CMS acquisition processes and federal procurement timelines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to simplify complex policy concepts.
- An interest in business development and a desire to evolve into expanded leadership roles.
Other Requirements:
- The role is mid-level and client-facing, with responsibilities for delivery as well as growth.
- Ability to work closely with senior leadership and take ownership of defined project areas.
- Some travel may be required to support client engagements or business development efforts.
Salary Range: $145K - $160K
