Mendix Developer

Blu Omega is seeking a Mendix Developer who can resolve a problems with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment. This role is more than just coding. As a Mendix Developer, you'll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Work with us as we shape systems for the better.

Responsibilities:

• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing web applications using Mendix low-code platform
• Partner with backend developers, architects, and DevOps engineers to integrate front-end and back-end components using technologies like C#, .NET, and SQL/PostgreSQL
• Utilize Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps best practices to maintain code quality, ensure secure deployments, and drive continuous improvement
• Identify, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance while recommending design and architectural improvements
• Support application development and deployment within AWS and other cloud environments, leveraging cloud-native tools for scalability and reliability
• Participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to solution design discussions, and apply emerging technologies and frameworks to improve team efficiency and delivery

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications
• 3+ years of experience developing and deploying enterprise web and mobile applications using the Mendix low-code platform
• Experience with Postgres SQL databases, familiarity with NoSQL technologies
• Experience with operations and maintenance to support ongoing technical needs for external and internal system needs
• Experience with on-premises server infrastructure and cloud-based solution best practices
• Experience with generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude Code) for assisted development
• Experience working in an Agile scrum team
• Ability to use back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor's degree

Nice to Have:

• Experience with creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
• Experience in Azure cloud and on premises development
• Experience developing solutions with configuration tools (i.e., Microsoft Power Platform)
• Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
• Master's degree

Salary Range: $170K- $180K
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
