As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Poway, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the technology and media location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, verifying identification and credentials as required by site protocols.
• Document and report any unusual activities, incidents, or security-related concerns according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary, following established communication protocols.
• Participate in ongoing security-related training and maintain all required certifications for an armed post at a technology and media location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
